General be used with quartz sand percolator at the same time.There are a large number of functional groups of alkyl on the activated carbon surface that have chemical adsorption to remove odour,organic,colloidal iron and chlorine,while reducing water turbidity,color,and pollution from subsequent system(RO,UF,IE).
The medium configuration of activated carbon absorber often is single-layer,the size:Φ1.5,Φ3.0mm,medium height:1.0~1.2m.By the structure is divided into single flow,two flow,vertical,horizontal;by the anti-corrosion requirements of inner surface,and is divided into lining-glue and non lining-glue.
The adsorption capacity of activated carbon has relationship with water temperature.The higher of the water temperature,the stronger of activated carbon adsorption capacity;if the water temperature as high as 30 ℃, adsorption capacity will reach the limit.Otherwise,the instability of PH will affect the adsorption capacity of activated carbon.
The adsorption principle is:Equilibrium surface concentration could be formed on the surface of the particle,and then organic material impurities are adsorbed into activated carbon particles,the high adsorption efficiency in the initial of use.But over time,activated carbon adsorption capacity will be reduced to decrease absorption effect.Therefore,the activated carbon should be regularly cleaned or replaced.
Please note that the water should be filtered out slowly through filtering layer.When first time to use,you’d better washe and clean the filtering medium,or else there will be black ink flowing out.
